Christopher Klettermayer was born on the 28th of October in Vienna/Austria.

During his years as a student, he already took up assistant jobs at Weinper Studio and helped out several photographers to suck in and learn what they knew. Eventually, he mustered up the courage to translate his love for images into a profession and started working as reportage photographer in 2006. Travelling India, Nepal, Afghanistan and Pakistan, he developped a strong eye for collecting images that portrayed moods and situations in often dangerous surroundings.

Due to the extremes in that field of work, Christopher decided for a more calm approach to things and became a full time fashion photographer. But his heart still beats for the unbeaten tracks and everytime his schedule allows, he ventures out into the reportage field – it influences his work in style and ideas.

Essentially, Christophers approach to photography is combining fashion with reportage, using the world and its issues as inspiration for stories.

He describes his style as a mix between the location, a person, natural light and surroundings.
